These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and Chili Logic (“Chili Logic,” “we,” “us”) about how you may use our apps and this website. By downloading or using one of our apps, or by using chili-logic.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use them.
The apps these Terms cover
These Terms apply to all Chili Logic apps, currently 99 Math Animals, Christian Bible: Hollow Prayer and Hydrolotl, to any future Chili Logic apps, and to this website. Hydrolotl also has its own section below (Hydrolotl) with its subscription terms and a health notice.
Your licence to use the apps
We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to download and use our apps on Apple devices that you own or control, for your own private, non-commercial use. You may not sell, rent, sub-licence, or redistribute the apps, and you may not copy them, reverse-engineer them, or try to extract their source code, except where the law expressly allows it. We keep all rights we do not expressly grant you here.
Apple’s Standard Licence
Because our apps are distributed through the App Store, your use is also covered by Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement (the “Standard EULA”). You can read it at apple.com/legal/…/stdeula. Where these Terms and Apple’s Standard EULA both apply, both are in effect; if they ever conflict on a point Apple requires, Apple’s Standard EULA governs that point.
Purchases and subscriptions
Our apps are free to download. Some apps offer optional in-app purchases (such as coins or an unlimited-hearts unlock in 99 Math Animals) or subscriptions (such as premium content in Christian Bible: Hollow Prayer). All payments are processed by Apple through your App Store account; we never see or store your card details.
In our children’s app, every real-money purchase is placed behind a parental gate. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled; you can manage or cancel them at any time in your device’s App Store settings. Refunds and billing are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.
Acceptable use
Please use our apps and website lawfully and as they are intended. You agree not to disrupt or interfere with them, attempt to gain unauthorised access, or use them to harm others or infringe anyone’s rights.
Prayer intentions you share
Christian Bible: Hollow Prayer lets subscribers share a short prayer intention that other users can read and pray for. By sharing one, you agree that:
- It is a genuine prayer request or thanksgiving, written by you, and contains nothing offensive, hateful, sexual, threatening, misleading, or unlawful, and no advertising, links, or contact details.
- It does not reveal anyone else’s full name or private details (health, legal, or otherwise) without their permission.
- Every intention is reviewed by a person before it is shown. We may edit, decline, or remove any intention at any time, and may stop a device from sharing intentions if these rules are broken. Intentions are shown for a limited time.
- You keep your rights in what you write, and give Chili Logic permission to store it and show it to other users of the app, without your name, for the time it is shown.
If you see an intention that breaks these rules, use “Report” in the app or write to support@chili-logic.com; we act on reports promptly.
Content and ownership
The apps and their design, artwork, illustrations, audio, and original text are owned by Chili Logic or our licensors and are protected by copyright. Scripture is drawn from public or appropriately licensed Bible texts. Your licence lets you use this content inside the apps; it does not transfer ownership to you.
No warranty
We build our apps with care, but they are provided “as is” and “as available.” To the extent the law allows, we do not promise that they will always be uninterrupted, error-free, or fit for a particular purpose. Nothing here removes rights you have as a consumer that cannot be excluded by law.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, Chili Logic is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential losses arising from your use of, or inability to use, the apps or website. Nothing in these Terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, including liability to consumers under mandatory local law.
For families
99 Math Animals is made for children. If you let a child use it, you do so as their parent or guardian, you accept these Terms on their behalf, and you are responsible for supervising their use, including any purchases made through the parental gate.
Hydrolotl
These additional terms apply to Hydrolotl, our water-intake tracker for iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch. Everything else in these Terms applies to Hydrolotl too.
Free to use
Tracking water in Hydrolotl is free and has no ads. Hydrolotl Plus, described below, is optional.
Hydrolotl Plus
Hydrolotl Plus unlocks extra content (currently rare axolotl colour morphs, the monthly plant and décor packs, and 30-day trends). It is offered in three ways:
- Plus Yearly: an auto-renewable subscription billed once a year (US$12.99 in the United States). New subscribers may be offered a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the yearly subscription starts and you are charged.
- Plus Monthly: an auto-renewable subscription billed once a month (US$1.99 in the United States), without a free trial.
- Plus Lifetime: a one-time purchase (US$24.99 in the United States) that unlocks Plus without any renewal or further payment.
Prices in other countries are set in the local currency and shown in the App Store before you buy; the price that applies is the one Apple shows when you confirm the purchase. Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase or, with a free trial, when the trial ends. A subscription renews automatically for the same period unless you cancel it at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends. You can manage or cancel subscriptions at any time in your Apple Account settings; cancelling stops the next renewal, and Plus stays active until the end of the period you have already paid for. Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription. If you buy a subscription during a free trial, any unused part of the trial ends. Hydrolotl Plus is currently not available through Family Sharing. Billing and refunds are handled by Apple under Apple’s terms.
Plus never speeds up progress in the app, and nothing random is for sale: there are no loot boxes and no in-app currency to buy. Pearls are earned only by drinking. If Plus ends, you keep the axolotls you have already hatched and the décor you have already bought with pearls.
Apple’s Standard EULA
Apple’s Licensed Application End User License Agreement applies to Hydrolotl in addition to these Terms, as described in “Apple’s Standard Licence” above.
Health notice
Hydrolotl is a fun water tracker, not a medical app, and does not give medical advice. The suggested daily goal follows general guidance (the European Food Safety Authority suggests about 2.0 litres a day for women and 2.5 litres for men, from drinks and food) and is not tailored to you. If you have a health condition that affects how much you should drink, or a fluid limit from your doctor, follow your doctor’s advice; you can set that limit in the app’s Settings. If you are unsure how much you should drink, ask a doctor.

Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “last updated” date above. If you keep using our apps or website after a change, that means you accept the updated Terms.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, where Chili Logic operates. If you are a consumer in the European Union, you also keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of the country where you live, and nothing here takes those rights away.
