Privacy Policy
Chili Logic (“Chili Logic,” “we,” “us”) makes apps for iPhone and iPad, including 99 Math Animals and Christian Bible: Hollow Prayer. We build privacy-first software, and that is especially true for the apps children use. This policy explains, in plain language, what our apps do and do not do with information.
Apps this policy covers
This policy applies to all Chili Logic apps, currently 99 Math Animals and Christian Bible: Hollow Prayer, and to this website at chili-logic.com.
Information we do not collect
We have designed our apps so that we simply do not collect personal information. In particular:
No accounts
Our apps do not have user accounts. We never ask for a name, email address, phone number, or password to use them.
No third-party trackers, analytics, or ads
Our apps contain no third-party advertising networks, no analytics or attribution SDKs, and no social-login integrations. We do not track you or your child across other apps or websites, and our apps’ App Store privacy information reflects this (App Tracking: off, data collected: none).
No access to your personal content
We do not request your contacts, photo library, precise location, microphone, or camera.
Information that is processed to make the apps work
A few normal, limited things happen so the apps can function. None of them identify you.
On-device data
Game progress, collected items, and settings are stored on your device. If you have iCloud enabled, this data may sync through your own private iCloud account, which is operated by Apple under Apple’s privacy terms; we cannot see its contents.
Purchases and subscriptions
In-app purchases (such as coins or an unlimited-hearts unlock in 99 Math Animals) and any subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Apple handles payment; we never see or store your card details. In our kids app, every real-money purchase is placed behind a parental gate so a child cannot buy anything by accident.
Spoken narration (99 Math Animals)
To offer a more natural narration voice, the app may send the short phrase to be spoken aloud (for example a number or a simple instruction) to our own server, which returns the audio. This text contains no personal information about you or your child, and we do not use it to identify or track anyone. When offline, the app falls back to your device’s built-in voice.
Anonymous usage statistics (Christian Bible: Hollow Prayer)
Christian Bible: Hollow Prayer sends anonymous usage statistics to our own server, so we can see which features are used and improve the app. This uses no third-party analytics service, is not linked to your identity, and is never used for advertising. 99 Math Animals sends no usage statistics at all.
If you email us
If you contact support@chili-logic.com, we receive your email address and your message, and use them only to reply to you and resolve your request.
This website
chili-logic.com sets no cookies. We count page views and link clicks with our own first-party system that stores only daily totals (for example “the 99 Math Animals page was viewed 12 times today”) — no cookies, no identifiers, no IP addresses stored, nothing tied to you, and it honors your browser’s “Do Not Track” and Global Privacy Control settings. To count how many people (rather than page loads) visit each day, we compute a one-day, non-reversible hash from the visit and a random daily key; the key is destroyed at midnight, only the day’s total is kept, and visits on different days can never be linked. Country-level statistics come from your browser’s reported timezone, not from your IP address. The site also keeps a couple of small functional entries in your browser’s local storage: a short-lived cache of our apps’ public App Store status and rating, so the page loads faster. They contain no personal data. Like virtually every website, our server keeps standard technical logs for security and debugging. If you join the launch-notification list, we store the email address you give us for that single purpose and delete it after the launch email is sent.
Children’s privacy (COPPA & GDPR-K)
99 Math Animals is made for children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, we show no behavioural advertising, and we use no third-party tracking. Real-money purchases are gated behind an adult check. Our apps are built to meet the requirements of Apple’s Kids Category, the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), and the children’s provisions of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR-K).
If you believe a child has somehow provided us personal information and you would like it removed, contact us at support@chili-logic.com and we will delete it.
Who else is involved
The only third party essential to our apps is Apple, which provides the App Store, payment processing, and optional iCloud sync under Apple’s own privacy policy. We do not sell, rent, or share information with advertisers, data brokers, or analytics companies, because we do not collect it in the first place.
Your choices and rights
Because everything lives on your device or in your own iCloud, you are in control. Deleting an app removes its on-device data; you can manage iCloud data in your device settings. To ask about or delete any email correspondence you have had with us, write to support@chili-logic.com.
Security
Because we hold almost no information, there is very little to expose. The limited data that exists stays on your device or within Apple’s services, protected by your device’s and Apple’s security.
Changes to this policy
If we add a feature that changes how information is handled, we will update this policy and the “last updated” date above before that feature ships.
