Animal number memory
Twelve cards to cut out: six groups of animals, six numbers. Every pair is a set and the digit that counts it — the same skill as the worksheets, except a child wins sometimes and a parent plays instead of marking.
How to use it
Print on the thickest paper your printer takes, or glue the sheet to cereal-box card before cutting — on ordinary paper the animals show through from behind and the game gives itself away. One page is one complete game, so you do not need both to start. Play with all twelve face down for a real game, or lay them face up for a younger child and just find the pairs; that version is still counting practice and nobody loses.

Printing notes
- Print at 100%, not "fit to page" — scaling shrinks the digits and the whole point is that your child writes them at a steady size.
- Black-and-white and draft mode are fine. Nothing on these sheets depends on colour.
- Slide a sheet into a punched pocket and a dry-wipe pen turns one page into a hundred goes.
