11 times table
One table, one page: 11 × 1 to 11 × 10 big enough for the fridge, the multiples of 11 lit up on a hundred chart, and a practice page with the answers taken away.
How to use it
Page one goes on the fridge, page two goes into a punched pocket with a dry-wipe pen. Read the poster together a few times first: the coloured band and the lit squares on the chart give the same ten answers twice, so a child sees the 11s as a path through the hundred as well as a list. Then hand over page two — the same ten facts in a scrambled order, with the multiples missing from the chart and from the counting row.
Up to 9 the 11s are the digit written twice: 11 × 4 = 44. Then 11 × 10 = 110, 11 × 11 = 121 and 11 × 12 = 132 each follow from the one before by adding another eleven, which is a good first taste of building a fact from a known one.
